can anybody guide me how affiliate marketing works? If suppose I put some affiliate links on my website, how would I know if a person has clicked my referral links. Is there some way to know this? Can a company cheat with its affiliate marketing program by not giving payment? How will I keep a track on the no. of visitors following my referral links? I hope you getting my point.
Also please let me know how can i earn money through ebay?

All I know is that you need to get a conversion tracker. Google adwords has this. This tells you what adwords are being used to get people to your site and buying the product. It gives you a conversion rate. This is the number of potentiall visitors performing the desired action, like buying your product, or some other goal of your web page.
Also you need to research the company before you become an affiliate. You definitely don’t want to go into a company that will cheat you. Try looking up the company on BBBonline. I don’t know the exact web address so you will have to put that into the search engine and the website will come up. Then you can read the report for that particular company.
Have you thought about working for clickbank? I dont know how to earn money through ebay. What I do know is going through ebay can be a hassle. You have to pay ebay a fee for posting, you have to worry about shipping costs, paying a fee for a paypal account, if Im not mistaken and worrying about fraud. Some people have been successful with E-bay so it’s all up to the individual.
I found out alot about affiliate marketing just by googling it and reading about it. Then several people that sell money making software and e-book tutorials will pop up too. I recently bought Profit Praxis for $47 because I’m a noob. It’s hard to understand it though. But at least most of these people offer a money back guarantee and that’s what you want to look for if you do buy these e-book tutorials.
